At Bay joinery we also offer the stairs refurbishment option. If your stairs are looking tired, with old carpet but you don’t want the disruption of a whole new staircase, the refurbishment option may suit you better. This method involves leaving the existing staircase in place, but replacing handrails, spindles, and cladding existing newel posts with solid woods of your choice. This is a less costly process than having a complete new staircase and can completely transform your hallway and landing areas with minimal fuss.
